NLRB Delays Employee Rights Poster Requirement
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has again postponed the date by which employers must post the Employee Rights notice, now requiring dealers to display the poster effective April 30, 2012.  Originally, the NLRB required the posting to be completed by November 14, 2011, but then delayed the deadline to January 31, 2012.  The most recent delay is due to pending lawsuits challenging the NLRB’s authority to require employers to post the notice.  NADA is involved in one of the suits through its membership with the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace.  Poster Requirements Unless there are further delays or court orders that bar the posting, most private sector employers will be required to post a notice by April 30, 2012.
-----------------------------
New Federal NLRA Poster Required Effective November 14, 2011.  Private employers are required to post the "Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act" poster where all employees can easily view it.  Bilingual Poster, Size 19" X 25", Laminated both sides.

Nearly all private-sector employers, including labor organizations, whose workplaces fall under the National Labor Relations Act are required to post the "Employee Rights" Notice where mandatory workplace notices are typically posted. The notice must be posted in English and Spanish or any other language if at least 20% of employees are not proficient in English and speak the other language. Employers must also post the notice on an intranet or an internet site if personnel rules and policies are customarily posted there. Private-sector employers must notify employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act by posting the "Employee Rights" Notice.

NOTE: Posters are NON-RETURNABLE Due to Regulatory Change.
